FASTER AND EASIER:

SAFER:
Lythic Densifier is pH 8.7-9, much lower than sodium silicate, potassium silicate, or lithium silicate. It’s safer for you to handle, and safer for the area around your job.

BETTER PERFORMANCE:
Nano-sized particles of virtually pure silica bond to concrete and to each other very readily. That means you can build up more density in the surface more quickly. We have multiple reports of applicators who rescued soft or damaged concrete that was considered “unpolishable” using silicates.

COST EFFECTIVE:
Lythic Densifier has a high coverage rate – 400 sf/gal working solution. It’s shipped as a concentrate to save you money. 1 gal concentrate = 5 gal working solution.

WORKS ON OVERLAYS:
Unlike silicates, Lythic Densifier will densify cementitious overlays that do not contain sufficient lime for silicate reaction. Reactive Colloidal Silica bonds directly to silica in the overlay cement and in its silica-sand aggregate. It makes overlays stronger and more polishable.

Using Lythic Densifier’s unique properties, you can create a highly reflective floor on a grind-and-burnish budget. This new, high-appearance, low-cost flooring process, the HardWear Floor, uses two different particle-sizes of Reactive Colloidal Silica to give your customers all the performance advantages of polished concrete without the expense and time of diamond-polishing. You can achieve gloss meter readings of over 50 with this process. New hard-troweled slabs can be prepped just by screening.
